Rebar Detector Detects The Position Of A Single Steel Bar And The Thickness Of The Protective Layer

Time:2020-08-21
1.Take out the rebar detector and connect the probe.
2. Turn on the power of the rebar detector, select the thickness test function, and set the steel bar diameter to the known diameter value and the project number of this test according to the design data.
3. Take the probe of rebar detector in the air, away from the metal (at least 0.5m away from the metal), press the OK button to reset and eliminate the influence of the environment.
4. Determine the direction of the steel bars according to design data or experience. If it is not possible to determine, scan multiple points in two orthogonal directions to determine the location of the steel bars.
5. Place the probe on the surface of the tested body, and move the probe evenly along the vertical direction of the steel bar parallel to the steel bar. The speed should be less than 20mm/s. When the probe reaches directly above the tested steel bar, the instrument will beep, prompting that there is a steel bar below, and automatically display the thickness of the protective layer. At this time, press to save the test result.Enter the project number currently set. Slowly move the probe back and forth in the vicinity of the opposite direction while observing the two-digit value on the right side of the screen. The position when the minimum value appears and the signal value is maximum, even though the exact position of the steel bar, the center of the steel bar and the diamond pattern on the probe The centers coincide.

Numerical judgment

When the thickness of the protective layer is greater than a certain value, the probe detection signal is relatively weak. At this time, in order to reduce misjudgment, the general program does not automatically determine the position of the steel bar.The user is required to determine the position of the steel bar according to the changing law of the current value. We call this determination method a numerical determination. Observe the small font value displayed on the signal value in the lower right corner of the screen. When the value changes from small to large, it means that the probe is gradually approaching the rebar. Continue to move the probe. When the numerical value starts to decrease from large to small, it means that the probe is gradually moving away from the rebar.Slowly move the probe back and forth in the vicinity of the opposite direction. The position where the signal value appears is the exact position of the steel bar.
